PaperDoll Brand Partnerships: BDTN

“PaperDoll is a styling genius.”

Street-Born, Story-Led

BDTN, also known as Bednotown, is a clothing, accessories, and souvenir brand built around strong visuals and honest storytelling. Known for bold, playful graphics and a distinct visual language, the brand brings its ideas to life across garments and objects that feel personal and lived-in. Every piece carries a sense of place, attitude, and creative intent.

Rooted in its surroundings and unpolished by design, BDTN creates streetwear that feels expressive without trying too hard—graphic, wearable, and grounded in real life.

Born of Place

Bednotown was born on a small street on the outskirts of Omsk, Siberia—a landscape that shaped both the brand’s name and its worldview. The name loosely translates to “poor city,” reflecting the raw environment that continues to influence its visual identity. Siberian artist Damir Muratov, known far beyond Omsk, still lives and works there, running the brand together with his son Arseny from their studio, production space, and store.

The brand’s work balances humor, grit, and clarity—turning everyday surroundings into bold visual statements.

On PaperDoll

At PaperDoll, we highlight brands that make getting dressed feel intuitive, expressive, and real. Our partnership with BDTN reflects a shared appreciation for clothing as a visual language—something worn, not overthought.

Just in time for Spring, this ensemble featuring a BDTN t-shirt is a masterclass in nostalgic color-blocking, channeling the playful energy of a 90s music video. The juxtaposition of the athletic track jacket with a high-gloss vinyl mini skirt creates a look that feels both nostalgic and fresh. It is the kind of outfit one could easily imagine on Hailey Bieber grabbing an iced matcha in West Hollywood or Dua Lipa during a casual off-duty moment at Coachella. The pastel mint and bubblegum pink palette gives off major Clueless vibes, updated for the modern streetwear enthusiast. By pairing the structured, sporty outerwear with a feminine, shiny silhouette, the look achieves a perfect balance of comfort and high-fashion edge. It is an effortless, camera-ready aesthetic that proves pastels are not just for spring, but for making a bold statement anywhere.

Through PaperDoll’s digital platform, users can style and visualize BDTN pieces in a way that feels personal and seamless—bringing streetwear rooted in place into everyday wardrobes.

BDTN reminds us that strong design comes from honesty and perspective. At PaperDoll, we’re proud to partner with brands like Bednotown that turn lived experience into visual identity.
